Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand
Hakkasan Nightclub not only serves as a gateway to Las Vegas but also to its bustling nightclub scene. Debuting in 2013, this 80,000-square-foot mega club quickly has become an iconic fixture in the City of Sin and is currently the largest nightclub on the Strip. Hakkasan can easily be described as the ultimate Las Vegas nightlife destination. This Las Vegas Nightclub five levels include lower-level Floors 1 and 2, which serve as the location for Hakkasan Restaurant – an award-winning upscale Asian fusion restaurant. One floor up on Level 3 is the 10,000 square feet Ling Ling Lounge and Club – known as the hip-hop floor, and on floors 4 and 5 is the main room, pavilion, and mezzanine.
In 2019, Hakkasan Las Vegas built upon its success by adding the "Hakkasan Grid" to its main room. This permanent state-of-the-art, multimillion-dollar custom-built kinetic light installation is comprised of 57, 4-foot flexible sculptural triangles that combine to form a massive 30-foot canopy, captivating the audience below with breathtaking views as it weaves, rises, and falls to the beat of the music.
During EDC Weekend 2019, the Grid debuted with resident artists. As you can see, Hakkasan has a broad genre of artists. On any given night, you might get a full-on EDM show . Some Friday Nights at Hakkasan nightclub events are strictly for hip hop and Open Format music.

Main Room
Main Room Owner's Table (15 Guests)
If you like being the center of attention, especially with some big bottle displays, opt for the owner's table in the main room.

Dance Floor Tables (12 Guests)
HK has a horseshoe setup for the prime tables. These are the best tables in the club because they offer a great view of the DJ from the dance floor. The largest dance floor tables are 52 and 12. The owner's tables are 51 and 11. Most can accommodate about 12 people; the largest can accommodate 15.

Stage Tables (15 Guests)
Tables 1-4 are the only Stage tables. They are located by the DJ and overlook the entire club. The drawback is that there is not much traffic in this area.
Upper Dance Floor Tables (12 Guests)
The upper dance floor tables are also considered prime tables. They are in the main room action, and the traffic flows behind this area. They are directly behind the dance floor tables in a horseshoe, and they all share a common ledge. Tables 61 and 21, a.k.a. the "owner's tables," can accommodate about 15 people each. The rest holds up to 12. Tables 64 and 24 are a bit larger, making them perfect for a group of about 15 people.

3rd and 4th Row Tables (8 Guests)
There are only 3rd and 4th-row tables on one side of the main room. Tables 31 and 32 are large, like the dance floor tables, and are surrounded by traffic the entire night. Tables 33 through 36 are corner tables. They provide more seating and have a decent view of the DJ. All the 3rd and 4th-row tables are in the action and have a lot of traffic. Behind the third-row tables are 42 and 43. Table 41, which I call "The Penalty Box," is sometimes divided into two tables – A and B. The 30s and 40s are all pretty good tables. Even 41 can be fun if you want to bring some friends into your area. There is a lot of traffic all night, which is a big advantage of these tables.

The Pavilion
To be clear, the pavilion is still on the fourth floor, which is still the main floor of Hakkasan Nightclub. Most of the tables in the Pavilion have a view of the main room DJ, and on significant DJ nights, the same music will be played in the pavilion as in the main room. On very rare occasions, there's a partition set up so a different DJ can play in the pavilion room, but in all my years working with Hakkasan, I have only seen this happen a couple of times.
The pavilion is one area of HK where you can take a breather. If the main room crowd is a bit intense, the 4-tops and the pavilion bar are a nice little escape. There are some four-top tables where you can chill out and enjoy the waterfall. There is a bar in the back, which usually is not too busy.
Pavilion 1st row (10 Guests)
The front of the pavilion Tables, 461-464, are almost as good as the third row. The big disadvantage is that there is a large ramp between you and the main room, which makes the distance to the DJ a bit further than the typical third row.

Pavilion 2nd Tier (10 Guests)
The other square pavilion tables are 451-454, and they are all pretty good, with the exception of 454, which does not provide a view of the DJ.

Pavilion 3rd Tier (10 Guests)
The other tables in the pavilion, 421-433, are more centrally located and have bench-style seating. There is a decent amount of room around these tables. The tables in the pavilion's big 'U" are 421-433. They have a giant ledge you can stand on behind the tables, and they provide a bit more bench space than Tables 441- 443.

Pavilion Back Wall (8 Guests)
Tables 465 to 411 on the map are cabana-style square tables. Unfortunately, there is a wall blocking the main room, so you can't see the DJ. Table 411 has an obscure view of the DJ, but if this is not an issue for you and you only want the main room music, these would work.

Mezzanine Level – Main Room
If you want a bird's eye view of the DJ from one level up, "the Mezz," also known as the upper level, is ideal.
Mezzanine Center (12 Guests)
Tables 514 and 515 on the map are spacious and can be made into one big table, making it perfect for larger groups.

The rest of the mezz tables are pretty good. There's a glass wall in front of the table so that you can see more of the crowd. I recommend tables 519 to 521 since there is a bar behind you, and that is where you will find most of the traffic. Tables 511, 513 and the skyboxes are next to the lighting crew booth, so I always try to avoid these if possible.

Mezzanine Skybox (20 Guests)
The Skyboxes are huge, with beautiful couches and plenty of room for a large group, but unfortunately, the view is not that great. You're pretty much tucked away in the corner and barely able to see anything. Since there is a partition between the Skyboxes, you could combine two and make one large area.

Ling Ling Club
The Ling Ling Club is a large rectangular-shaped club on the third floor with the DJ in the middle and dance floor tables on either side. Typically, the music is hip hop, and occasionally, they will have a hip hop artist performing. When the club is busy, this room has a great party vibe, and I can usually do some package deals in this section for less-than-retail pricing.
Ling Ling Club Dance Floor Tables (10 Guests)
If you're into hip hop music, the dance floor tables on either side of the DJ are the best. Tables 321-323 and 331-333 are prime real estate, and if you want to be right on the dance floor, tables 341 to 344 are the best! When the main club is busy, the Ling Ling Club gets jam-packed, and if you have a table on the dance floor, you’re going to have a great party!

Ling Ling Club Regular Tables (10 Guests)
The Ling Ling Club is rectangular, so all the tables are pretty good. They are big and spacious. The DJ is in the center. On the map, all the tables in the 300s have a lot of space.

Ling Ling Lounge
The Ling Ling Lounge on the third floor is a great space for a private corporate event, or if the main club is not busy enough for the Ling Ling Club, they may open the Ling Ling Lounge. This area is the 200s on the map. I've rented it several times for corporate parties.
Ling Ling Lounge Tables (8 Guests
The tables in the Ling Ling Lounge don't get seated too often. Occasionally, for low minimums on busy nights, if they have both the Ling Ling Club and the Ling Ling Lounge open, the tables along the walls can accommodate about ten guests. The design of the club is very cool, and in most other cities in the world, this would be an impressive lounge, but when compared to the main room, the Ling Ling Club is only good for chilling out and having a few drinks.
